Prince Andrew Under Renewed Pressure in Epstein Related Investigation

British police expanded their inquiry into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on Friday as they appealed for witnesses in connection with potential sexual offences linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

Thames Valley Police arrested Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the younger brother of King Charles III and formerly known as Prince Andrew, in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Officers acted after the release of new Epstein files in the United States. The files raised questions about his activities as Britain’s trade envoy from 2001 to 2011.

Metropolitan Police officers contacted Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s former protection officers. They asked the officers what they saw or heard during their service. Meanwhile, Thames Valley Police continued searches at Royal Lodge, his former home in Windsor.

A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police said the force examined several aspects of alleged misconduct. She added that detectives spoke with lawyers for a woman who claimed Epstein trafficked her to the Windsor property in 2010 for sexual purposes.

Police renewed their public appeal for information on Friday. They invited anyone with relevant details about alleged misconduct, corruption, fraud or sexual offences to come forward. The force stated its door remained open to potential victims.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has previously denied any wrongdoing in relation to his links with Epstein. He has not made a public statement since his arrest.

The developments mark the latest chapter in long running scrutiny over Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The case continues as police gather evidence from multiple sources.
