Cristiano Ronaldo Shines as Al Nassr Clinch Saudi League Title

Al Nassr secured the 2025/26 Roshn Saudi Pro League crown after they defeated Damac 4-1 at Al-Awwal Park. Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in the victory that ended a six-year title drought for the club and marked their 11th league championship.

Sadio Mane opened the scoring for Al Nassr in the first half. Kingsley Coman added a second goal soon after. The visitors pulled one back from the penalty spot, but Ronaldo responded with a clinical finish to restore the lead before halftime.

Coach Jorge Jesus praised the team’s start. “We controlled the game from the beginning,” Jesus said after the match.

Ronaldo netted his first goal of the evening with a sublime strike. He then curled home a stunning free kick to make the score 4-1. The Portuguese forward finished the season with 30 league goals and earned Man of the Match honors.

Ronaldo spoke to reporters after the final whistle. “The team worked hard all season. This title means a lot to everyone at the club,” he stated.

Al Nassr ended the campaign with 86 points and scored a league-high 91 goals. The win allowed Ronaldo to add a domestic title from a fifth country to his collection. Teammates and fans celebrated wildly as the 41-year-old flashed a thumbs-up during his emotional lap of honor.

Club officials confirmed the title win lifted a long wait for supporters. Al Nassr last lifted the trophy six years earlier.

The result crowned a strong season under Jorge Jesus and highlighted Ronaldo’s continued impact at the highest level.
