Tinubu explained that Nigerians endured tough times but those challenges produced results. He said the walk through the dark tunnel ended and the light appeared.
Tinubu added that he remained confident the reforms would yield improved security and greater opportunities. He expressed belief that the measures positioned Nigeria as an attractive investment destination.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio joined other leaders in calling for continued sacrifice. Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin and House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas also urged national unity. Several governors and APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje echoed the appeal for renewal.
President Bola Tinubu extended warm greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and worldwide. He wished them a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration. Tinubu prayed that Allah accept the sacrifices and prayers offered during the festival.
The President released the statement through the State House as Muslims prepared for prayers and feasts. Officials declared public holidays for the celebration on May 27 and 28.
