Chief Obidike Chukwuebuka, an All Progressives Congress chieftain and Chairman of Clarivo Oil and Gas Limited, stated that Nigerians may regret it if President Bola Tinubu loses the 2027 election. He made the remark while defending the administration’s policies and urging continued support for the president.
Obidike explained that the Tinubu administration inherited serious economic challenges. He added that the government took difficult decisions to restore stability and lay the foundation for long-term growth. Furthermore, he pointed to improved government revenue, increased investor confidence and fiscal reforms as key achievements.
In addition, Obidike highlighted the Student Loan Act and the 3 Million Technical Talent programme. He said these initiatives aim to train three million young Nigerians in digital skills by 2027. Meanwhile, he noted that federal allocations to states rose after the reforms, giving sub-national governments more resources for development.
Obidike declared that any coalition formed to oppose President Tinubu’s vision is doomed to fail. He stated, “Any coalition formed to oppose President Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria is doomed to fail because he is too committed to the country’s progress.”
He further warned Nigerian youths against working against the administration. Obidike said, “God will not forgive any youth who sabotages this vision out of ignorance or mischief.” He described such action as unpatriotic and spiritually dangerous.
Obidike maintained that President Tinubu remains the strongest option for Nigeria ahead of the 2027 presidential election. He insisted there is no vacancy at the Presidential Villa. As a result, he urged Nigerians to remain patient with the policies and judge the leadership by results.
