President Bola Tinubu commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike during the inauguration of Federal High Court Judges Quarters in Katampe District of Abuja on Wednesday. Tinubu stated that Wike delivered on the task of transforming the capital.
Tinubu spoke through Vice President Kashim Shettima at the event. He highlighted Wike’s work on road networks and timely projects.
President Bola Tinubu addressed the minister directly in his message. He said, “Wike, you have not disappointed me. From fixing critical road networks to ensuring the timely completion of projects like this Judges Quarters, you have proven that performance is the only currency that matters in public service.”
The president noted that he assigned Wike the responsibility to make Abuja a world class city. He added that Wike met expectations through consistent execution.
The inauguration marked part of activities for the administration’s third year in office. Officials completed 10 residences for Federal High Court judges. Wike oversaw the project and ensured quality despite challenges.
Nyesom Wike responded at the event. He detailed ongoing efforts, including quarters for other judicial bodies, and plans to enhance security in the area. He defended land reclamation actions as necessary for public benefit.
Vice President Kashim Shettima represented the president and conveyed appreciation for collaboration between the executive and judiciary. Tinubu emphasized that such infrastructure supports judicial independence and the rule of law.
The event showcased progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda. Officials pointed to visible changes in Abuja as evidence of focused governance. Wike continued momentum with additional projects planned for completion soon.
