Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck early in the second half as Leeds United earned a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Elland Road on Sunday.
Manchester United took the lead in the 35th minute. Youri Tielemans delivered a low cross and Bryan Mbeumo guided the ball past Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford. The goal marked Mbeumo’s fourth of the season.
Meanwhile, Michael Carrick’s side controlled much of the first half. They created several chances and led at the interval for the first time in the Premier League this campaign.
Leeds responded quickly after the break. In the 51st minute Tarik Muharemovic headed down a corner. Then Dominic Calvert-Lewin held off a challenge and finished from close range past Senne Lammens.

Afterwards, both teams traded chances but neither found a winner. The contest remained intense until the final whistle.
Leeds manager Daniel Farke later said his side showed strong character. Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Michael Carrick noted the point came after a demanding week.
Furthermore, the draw left Manchester United winless in their last five Premier League matches. They continued their search for a second league victory of the season.
