RETHINKING LEADERSHIP, SERVICE DELIVERY AND THE DEARTH OF IT IN NIGERIA….JUST MY THOUGHTS.

From this week, I shall on this platform commence a series on various aspects of life by which we grow and make impact on society, on life itself and on others!

Aptly titled the Life-Growth Series, my mission here is to, in consonance with what is, usually, called one’ s Ministry in Christendom, offer the best of myself, my little abilities and, indeed, my talents to what will make the other person a better person in a world that is filled with hate, negative passion, disdain for others and the very inadequacy in ourselves that causes people not to attain the high platitude and aptitude God has ordained for them in life.

The benefit of what I am about to begin here is not lost out on me that is pregnant with this idea. It is an opportunity that offers me constant learning and the critical thinking that is needed to form, analyze and sustain a logic. Yes, this is the ability to learn something new each day, merely, because I wish to convey some grain of wisdom, truth, inspiration and motivation to someone I know not from Adam, but for whose sake I am roundly compelled by higher hands to be a blessing to their life. I have come to water and be watered, as the Holy Writ puts it.

As expected, I shall deal with issues on Leadership, Greed, Service, Religion as well as Good Governance as the each relate to our present Nigerian experience.

In doing all of this, I do not want to be seen as knowing it all. Rather, I will always want to welcome divergent views, the alternative opinion and the other side of the coin on any issue of contemporary concern that I bring under the radar of social discourse here.

My chief concern is that we have something to talk about that will not only remind us of the need to move with the times, but actually push us out of our comfort zone to learn new tongue, new ideas, new writing, new methodologies of doing things and anything that probably challenges us to continue learning and to fulfill that pearl of wisdom that reminds us that an untrodden path soon grows grasses and that no matter how precious gold is, it can also rust when not in use.

So, starting from today, please be gracious enough to welcome me into your room, in the sitting- room, in your offices, in the comfort of your work place and into any places you think we can be alone and, like jealous lovers, share the very best of our quiet times discussing whatever we want to, from the sensible to the senseless…just you are I

Please, fasten your seat belter; we are about to take off.

Have yourself a splendid week ahead.
