Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Niger Tornadoes have parted ways with midfielder Meyiwa Oritseweyinmi.
Meyiwa leaves the Ikon Allah Boys barely six months after joining from Bendel Insurance.
He managed only two appearances Majin Mohammed’s side during his time at the club.
Meyiwa expressed gratitude to the club after his departure.
“Meyiwa Oritseweyinmi thanked Niger Tornadoes for the warm welcome, love, and support received from the fans, teammates, and club officials, describing the club as special,” Meyiwa stated in his farewell message to Niger Tornadoes.
Meyiwa is expected to secure a move elsewhere for more playing time before the start of the second stanza.
