OTTAWA – The upcoming Nigeria-Canada Partnerships Trade and Investment Conference (NCPTIC) 2025 is set to receive a major boost from a key figure in Nigeria’s international relations,
Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM).
The high-profile conference, organized by the Nigerian and Canadian Business Network (N&CBN), will be held at the Ottawa Conference and Events Centre from October 29-31, 2025. The event is designed to foster strategic economic collaboration and strengthen bilateral trade ties between the two nations.
As the head of NiDCOM, Hon. Dabiri-Erewa has positioned the commission as a chief supporter and official partner for the conference. Her involvement underscores the critical role the Nigerian diaspora plays in facilitating foreign direct investment and building transnational business bridges. NiDCOM’s mandate aligns perfectly with the conference’s goal of “Strengthening Bilateral Trade and Investment for Sustainable Economic Growth.”
NCPTIC 2025 will bring together government officials, industry leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs from both Nigeria and Canada. The forum aims to create a platform for policy dialogue, showcase investment-ready projects, and leverage the expertise of the Nigerian diaspora community in Canada to unlock new economic opportunities. The partnership with NiDCOM is seen as pivotal to mobilizing this powerful network and ensuring the event’s success
