Hat-Trick Hero Raphinha Leads Barcelona to Dominant 5–2 Victory Against Sevilla

Barcelona delivered a dominant display at the Camp Nou on March 15 2026. The Liga leaders crushed Sevilla 5-2 and extended their advantage over Real Madrid.

Barcelona captain Raphinha opened the scoring in the ninth minute. Djibril Sow clipped Joao Cancelo inside the area. Raphinha chipped a Panenka penalty down the middle for the opener.

Twelve minutes later Jose Angel Carmona handled the ball. Raphinha drilled the second penalty low to the left. The Brazilian winger gave Barcelona a 2-0 lead.

Dani Olmo added a third goal in the 38th minute. Marc Bernal supplied a deflected pass. Olmo slammed the ball home. Sevilla pulled one back just before halftime. Oso redirected a Juanlu Sanchez cross past Joan Garcia. The visitors trailed 3-1 at the break.

Raphinha restored control six minutes after the restart. He linked with substitute Fermin Lopez. His low shot deflected off Nemanja Gudelj and looped over keeper Odysseas Vlachodimos. The goal completed Raphinha’s treble.

Joao Cancelo drove into the box in the 60th minute. He cut inside and stabbed the ball past Vlachodimos to make it 5-1. Djibril Sow nodded a late consolation in stoppage time. The result ended Sevilla’s five-match unbeaten run.

Barcelona captain Raphinha said he delivered a very good match with his teammates. He added that scoring a hat-trick feels incredibly special especially at the Camp Nou.

The victory warmed up Hansi Flick’s side ahead of their Champions League clash with Newcastle. Barcelona now sit four points clear at the top.
