Latest information on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the upcoming November 8, 2025, election in Anambra State, Jude Ezenwafor, who was shot in Abuja on Friday indicates he is not dead as widely reported by most media organizations
The report at our disposal indicates that he had sustained gunshot wounds during the attack in Abuja. Authentic sources informed our reporters that the politician had sustained gun shots on both legs, but has vowed to continue with his campaign even on wheelchairs.
It will be recalled that Ezenwafor was shot by unidentified gunmen late Friday night in the Wuse 2 area of the Federal Capital Territory while returning from a private engagement.
According to an online news organization, a source close to the politician had said he “succumbed to his injuries” after being rushed to a private hospital. This was later proven to be untrue by the politician who spoke to some press men from an unnamed hospital Monday.
Two other individuals who were in the same vehicle with him were also injured.
