“ADC Can Turn Things Around” — Abubakar Malami Talks Up Party’s Chances Against APC

Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami described the African Democratic Congress as a formidable platform. Malami said the party would rescue Nigeria and unseat the All Progressives Congress.

Malami made the declaration on Monday during a political engagement in Kebbi State. He addressed party members and supporters at the event.

“ADC is a formidable platform to rescue Nigeria and unseat APC,” Malami stated. He added that the quest for fair and just governance remained a fearless one. Malami explained that it sought to change the narratives that Nigeria was beyond repairs.

Malami reaffirmed his absolute loyalty to his supporters and the ADC leadership. He expressed confidence that the party provided the needed alternative for Nigerians.

He vowed to work with other stakeholders to send the APC packing at both state and federal levels. Malami declared that there was no going back on his mission.

Transitioning to his political future, Malami hinted at a comeback in Kebbi politics. He promised to deliver good governance if given the opportunity.

The statement came as the African Democratic Congress continued to attract defectors from the ruling party. Several prominent politicians had already joined the ADC in recent months.

Malami joined the opposition party after he resigned from the APC. He cited the need to restore hope and good governance in the country.

Party leaders welcomed his defection. They described it as a boost to the coalition efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Observers noted that Malami’s endorsement strengthened the ADC’s position. The former minister served under former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
