Various programmes marking the 25th Anniversary of the Love Assembly Foursquare Gospel Church, Toronto,Canada,have ended with a call on the Christian faithful to renew their Hope in God and look up to Him at all times .
The programme which came to conclusion on July 27th, 2025 was tagged “25 years of God’s faithfulness” and drew participants from across the globe.
The programme’s theme drawn from Psalm 89:1″ I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever;with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations”,expresses a commitment to praising God’s enduring love and faithfulness at all times no matter the situation of life.
The event had in attendance various dignitaries, including:
The President of Foursquare Gospel Church, Canada, Steve Falkiner, the General Overseer of Foursquare, Nigeria,Rev. Sam Aboyeji, who ministered to the congregation virtually; as well Rev. G. Faroumbi, General Overseer Emeritus of Nigeria’s Foursquare Gospel Church.
The host, Pastor Stephen Akinwekomi, speaking to the august congregation gave account of how the church began 25 years ago in a small living- room with 4 people in attendance:his wife, 2 kids and himself.
The event also had many other dignitaries from around Canada and the US in attendance. It was a 7-day programme, which featured music, drama and word ministration among others.
