Pastor William Kumuyi received recognition from the World Book of Records in London on Sunday. Pastor William Kumuyi serves as the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry. He announced the honour through a post on his official X handle.
Pastor William Kumuyi shared the inclusion letter issued by the organisation. He wrote, “I received an Inclusion Letter from the World Book of Records, London. Humbled by this recognition, my focus remains unchanged: winning souls for Christ. Through five years of GCK, God enabled us to reach over 50 million lives and see more than 900,000 saved. All glory to God alone!”
The inclusion letter came from Chief Executive Officer of the World Book of Records Santosh Shukla. It confirmed recognition in the Excellence category.

The letter cited outstanding contributions to education, academic excellence, visionary leadership, global outreach initiatives, humanitarian service and community development.
Furthermore, the organisation noted that these efforts impacted millions of lives across continents. It highlighted faith based leadership, educational advancement and international social empowerment programmes.
The Excellence category honours exceptional achievements and distinguished service in various fields.
Pastor William Kumuyi founded the Deeper Christian Life Ministry. He also serves as convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi. In addition, he founded and serves as Chancellor of Anchor University in Lagos.
The Global Crusade with Kumuyi began in 2021. Over five years, the programme expanded across continents. It recorded large physical and online audiences. Meanwhile, Pastor William Kumuyi continued to emphasise soul winning as the central focus of his work.
