Dave to Wrap Up Global Tour with Two Big Lagos Concerts in October 2026

British-Nigerian rapper David Omoregie, known as Dave, concluded his worldwide “The Boy Who Played the Harp” tour with two headline concerts in Lagos. The performances took place on October 16 and 17, 2026, at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts.

Dave announced the dates in early June 2026. He shared the news on social media and described the shows as his homecoming. The artist, who was born in London to Nigerian parents, highlighted the personal significance of performing in Nigeria for the first time as a headliner.

The global tour previously visited cities across Europe, North America, and Australia. Dave added the Lagos dates as the final stops. Organizers confirmed the shows at the refurbished venue in Surulere. Fans expected performances of hits from his 2025 album, including the track “Raindance” that featured Nigerian singer Tems.

The concerts marked a major moment for African audiences. Many supporters had long awaited Dave’s live appearance in Nigeria. Tickets went on presale shortly after the announcement, with general sales opening on June 9, 2026. Promoters worked with Live Nation to manage the events.

The Wole Soyinka Centre, formerly known as the National Theatre, hosted the performances. Dave selected the iconic location to connect with his roots. The two-night run allowed him to deliver an extended set to local fans.

Dave wrapped up the tour successfully in Lagos. The shows celebrated his journey and strengthened ties between his British career and Nigerian heritage.
