Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo also reacted with joy. He posted, “After 22 long years, we are FINALLY CHAMPIONS!! UP GUNNERS!! Kudos to Man City that pushed us all the way!! It makes it even sweeter!!!” Keyamo’s message highlighted the competitive battle that made the triumph more rewarding.
Afrobeats superstar Davido, who has shown support for Arsenal in recent times, celebrated the victory. Reports indicated he joined fans in expressing delight as the club ended its long drought.
Other Nigerians and public figures added their voices to the celebrations. Many took to social media to laud manager Mikel Arteta and the players for their consistency throughout the season. Fans and supporters described the win as a reward for patience and hard work after years of near-misses.
