Baldwin Bazuaye has started reign as interim technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Bendel Insurance.
Former handler of the team, Greg Ikhenoba was suspended by the Edo State Sports Commission on Monday.
Ikhenoba was suspended following the club’s poor start of the season.
Bazuaye charged the players to wake up from their slumber and be alive to their responsibility .
” I am in the saddle here for a temporary time and to help manage the situation pending when the issues that led to the suspension of your head coach are resolved,” he told the players ahead of Tuesday’s training session.
The Benin Arsenals have recorded just one win from seven games this season.
They will be away to Ikorodu City this weekend.
